Created for touring and dynamic musicians and everyone who need comfy and lightweight gear, Scorcio headless bass series is just the right one: it fits in a guitar's gigbag, it's compact, light, well balanced - but made with first class woods and the usual 34" scale or the ultra-comfortable 32".

With the optional 32" short scale the bass is even smaller, comfortable and with a strikingly full and sound slap tone.

The Scorcio "Superleggero" (ultralight, in italian), thanks to a peculiar choice of woods, weighs just 2,7Kgs in its five strings active electronics version!

A new and ergonomically fine tuned Scorcio version is now available for the 34" long scale version, for a better balance.

The striking little body balances the missing headstock, resulting in a beautiful, smart, good looking bass; only the most gorgeous and dense woods are used, and the seven-pieces neck-thru-body assembly gives thump, sound, presence, stability and durability.
Usual in the whole Biarnel production, the Scorcio sports two large tonal chambers in the body's wings, giving sustain and low weight.
The thin and durable acrylic finish is available in natural satin and in high gloss version, natural, coloured or with a stunning burst.
Scorcio's rich tonal palette relies on a Biarnel 5e5 pickup, "MM" position, or on a set of two Biarnel dual coil, "J" position. The sound you need in every gig.
Available in 4, 5 and 6 strings, with active or passive electronics, ETS bridge/tuner and brass locking nut. Works with single ball or double ball strings.
