Introduced in 2008, Biarnel Akmè was the first single cut bass by Biarnel Liuteria.
Since 2011 a 4-strings Akmè is Ares Tavolazzi’s weapon of choice and his personal bass, later joined by the exclusive Akmè 5+3.

Akmè is available in 4, 5, 6 (or more) strings configuration, fretted or fretless, neck through construction, active or passive electronics.

Wooden pickup covers are available, with optional radiused finger ramp.

The Akmè AQ model has an hollow body and spruce top, an extra-long fingerboard, serving as a radiused finger ramp; with the recommended nylon strings it’s an ideal crossover between a fretless bass and an electric upright.
